FIRST RESPONDERS Gathering

Burnt Leaf Lounge, Florida, USA

Men-tal health matters! 💪 We were honored to join the regular First Responders Gathering at Burnt Leaf Lounge to engage with local first responders and discuss the crucial topic of mental health.

First responders, including firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and other emergency personnel, are among the communities most affected by mental health challenges in the US, a trend that undoubtedly extends globally. The culture within these professions often emphasizes strength, stoicism, and self-reliance, creating significant barriers to seeking help or speaking openly about mental health struggles.

Rob, Sandra and Rauf from the LOFB team were delighted to spend the night with the crew, with cigars in hand, to talk mental health and get real with the first responders. Our LOFB commitment is in destigmatizing mental health issues and making support services more accessible for first responders. Through our GiveBack donations to first responder-related initiatives, we aim to foster a supportive environment where these heroes can find the help they need.

The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, highlighting the importance of breaking down the walls that prevent first responders from seeking the support they deserve. We believe that real change starts with a simple conversation, and we were grateful for the opportunity to start many of those at Burnt Leaf Lounge.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in this important mission. Remember, none of us can go at it alone – and that includes our first responders.

Stay tuned for more events and initiatives as we continue to support men’s mental health and the well-being of our first responders. 🗣️⛑️
