Our Serie-L Ratings Are In: As Reviewed by Cigar Insider!

Well bastards, we have some exciting news to share.

We’ve talked a big game when it comes to our Serie-L cigars. We’re pretty proud of our blend and from what we’re hearing, the people do too.

Now, we can finally put the case to rest and put some numbers to our claims because we’ve just been rated by Cigar Insider, a publication by Cigar Aficionado.

As a new name to the cigar industry, to be reviewed just a few months after our launch is quite the milestone for us. Our passion and priority for crafting premium cigars and dedication to men’s mental health is at the heart of everything we do. And now, it’s a proud moment to see that dedication being recognized.

The Ratings Are In!

All three vitolas of our LOFB Serie-L were put to the test by Cigar Insider, and here’s how they ranked:

• Robusto: 88 points
• Toro: 89 points
• Churchill: A standout with 90 points!

These scores average out to an impressive 89 overall rating for our Serie-L line. 

More Than Just Cigars: A Mission with Meaning

While we’re over the moon about these ratings, it’s of course, not (just) about the numbers for us. We’ve always believed that our cigars are more than just a product – they’re a catalyst for conversation, a bridge to bring men together, and a way to encourage open discussions about mental health. Our founder, Adam Levine (no, not the Maroon 5 singer!), started this company with a mission: to use cigars as a tool to help men “chew the fat” and talk about the important stuff.

As highlighted by Cigar Insider, we’re committed to supporting men’s mental health, pledging 40% of our sales to organizations focused on this crucial cause (We recently partnered with the Boulder Crest Foundation, committing 40% of our US profits to their transformative work for veteran mental health!).

If even one cigar can help a mate get through tough times, then we’ve done our job. And now, with this recognition from Cigar Aficionado, we feel even more validated in our journey.

Crafted with Care and Precision

Our LOFB Serie-L cigars were developed in collaboration with Juan Martínez of Joya de Nicaragua (the first cigar manufacturers in Nicaragua!). Our collaboration and the entirety of the blending and testing process took place over Zoom meetings during the pandemic. The Serie-L features an Ecuador Habano wrapper paired with a Nicaraguan binder from Jalapa, complemented by rich Nicaraguan fillers from Jalapa and Estelí. This blend offers a everyman cigaring experience that can’t miss and resonates with both new cigar enthusiasts and seasoned aficionados alike.
